“Inst-A-Screen” overlays are the result of combining the reliability and repeatability of the traditional screen printed graphic overlays, with the flexibility and speed associated with the digital printing process. There are several major benefits that the Inst-A-Screen printing process possesses. Some of these benefits are:

The result is a digital alternative to screen printing that allows us to provide our customers with custom overlays in both prototype and production quantities, eliminating the normal set-up and tooling costs associated with screen printing.

“Inst-A-Screen” graphics are printed using a thermal transfer process, by which colored resins are fused into the back side of a durable 10mil Polycarbonate/Lexan film. This provides the graphics with the highest level of scratch and chemical resistance available. Once printed, a “Peel-and Stick” 3M adhesive layer is added and the graphics are cut to your specifications resulting in a product that looks and performs like a screen printed graphic, but is produced in a fraction of the time and without additional costs.

All of our graphics are designed and saved in electronic format on our hard drive which affords us the capability to make changes to an overlay in a matter of minutes. This fact coupled with our ability to die-cut the graphics in house, eliminates the need for lengthy lead times and expensive tooling charges that are associated with the conventional method of producing overlays.

BW Industries, has been producing Inst-A-Screen overlays since 1999, and has developed the knowledge base necessary to ensure that our graphics will perform up to the same levels that the industry has come to expect from traditional screen print panel overlays.

The following is a list of the preferred file formats that we accept. While we have the ability to work with almost any file format, the files below allow us to import your artwork directly into our software in order to reduce the amount of time needed to produce our graphic as well as aid in minimizing any errors.

PROTOTYPING FEES
We have a standard Prototyping fee of $125. The typical lead time for a prototype is 5-7 days. Rush Prototyping Services are available at and additional fee of $100. The typical lead time for Rush Prototypes is 2-3 days from receipt of the order.

LEAD TIMES
Standard turnaround time is 5 - 7 days. Rush services are available at additional cost.
